Apparently, one reality show wasn't enough for the Rams, because now they have two.
The cable network E! announced on Wednesday that the Rams will be getting their own reality show this fall called Hollywood and Football. The new series will be based around the team's move from St. Louis to Los Angeles, and will focus on six players along with their families.
Jeff Olde, E!'s EVP of programming and development, seems to think the new show will be a hit.
"We are excited to take viewers inside the exclusive lifestyles of these top athletes and their families as they navigate a new city, new friendships, new schools and the inevitable Hollywood gossip," Olde said in a statement. "E! has a track record of success with pop culture programming centered in the world of sports, and this series will capture the off the field perspective of one of football's most anticipated and high profile events as the Rams return to L.A."
The good news for most of us is that we'll now be able to watch an NFL-related show and Keeping up with the Kardashians on the same channel. If that doesn't give you your reality fill, then you'll want to make sure and watch E!'s other shows like Total Divas and WAGS.
I'm not going to sit here and give you advice, but let's just say that you should start getting your DVR warmed up now.
Although E! hasn't announced a premiere date for the show, the network did announced that players who will be taking part.
Wide receiver Kenny Britt, fullback Cory Harkey, tight end Lance Kendricks, running back Chase Reynolds, wide receiver Bradley Marquez and offensive lineman Rodger Saffold will all be featured, along with their wives and families.
Basically, if you turn on your TV this fall, there's a 90 percent chance you'll be seeing the Rams.
This is the second time since moving to L.A. that that Rams have landed a reality show. The NFL announced in March that the team would be starring in this year's version of Hard Knocks. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the Rams have given up on trying to win a Lombardi Trophy and are now a lot more focused on winning an Emmy.
