There's no place like home for the Washington Football Team, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road Sunday. They came out on top against the Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 20-9.
Among those leading the charge for Washington was RB Antonio Gibson, who punched in one rushing touchdown. Working against Washington was the performance of QB Alex Smith, who threw one interception with only 166 yards passing.
No one had a standout game offensively for Cincinnati, but they got one touchdown from WR A.J. Green. QB Joe Burrow ended up with a passer rating of 124.60.
The win bumped Washington's record up to 3-7. This is the second loss in a row for the Bengals and nudges their record down to 2-7-1.
Washington will take on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday at AT&T Stadium. As for Cincinnati, they will face off against the New York Giants at 1 p.m. ET next week at Paul Brown Stadium. New York is 1-1 after wins this season, and Cincinnati is 1-4-1 after losses.
