The Titans defense shut out the Chargers in the fourth quarter Sunday, allowing the offense to stage a 20-17 comeback win. While the defensive unit played well as a team, there weren't a lot of standout statistical performers for the Titans Week 3.
Safety Michael Griffin had a team-high nine tackles (seven solo). Linebacker Moise Fokou also had seven solo tackles and finished with eight tackles. Safety Bernard Pollard had six tackles (four solo).
Cornerback Alterraun Verner managed four solo tackles, one pass defense and one fumble recovery, while linebacker Zach Brown had his worst game of the season, finishing with one solo tackle.
Defensive tackle Antonio Johnson and linebacker Akeem Ayers each had a a sack. Johnson finished with three tackles (two solo), while Ayers had just the lone tackle.
