While Matt Hasselbeck arguably outperformed Jake Locker in 7-on-7 drills in Sunday night's practice at Tennessee Titans' training camp, Locker earned a measure of revenge with a strong prformance when the Titans went 11-on-11.
After two days of training camp, Hasselbeck and Locker are virtually even. Coach Mike Munchak expects to name a starter by Aug. 23.

7-on-7 Drills -
Hasselbeck went a perfect 7-for-7, with most of his throws of a short variety. The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback completed a pass to WR Damian Williams in a tight window along the left sidelines early in the drill. Terrence Wheatley tried to jump the route, but Hasselbeck fired it past the third-year cornerback. Moments later, Wheatley went for another interception, but Hasselbeck connected again with Williams -- this time on a comeback.
Locker, meanwhile, started slowly. The second-year quarterback's most glaring error came on an incompletion with WR Marc Mariani along the left sidelines. Locker thought Mariani would break to the outside, but the receiver instead headed straight downfield.
Hasselbeck: 7-7, 0 TDs, 0 INT
Locker: 4-8, 0 TDs, 0 INT
11-on-11 Drills -
Hasselbeck was intercepted for the first time during camp when he threw a pass behind TE Jared Cook in the left flat. The pass trickled off Cook's hands and went directly to LB Will Witherspoon, who returned it for a touchdown. Hasselbeck faced pressure on several attempts, but had little trouble handling it. He completed a pass to WR Michael Preston on the run and another to WR Lavelle Hawkins on a curl against a heavy rush.
Locker also handled the pressure with ease. He stepped up to avoid the blitz midway through the drill and fired a pass to WR Nate Washington across the middle. Locker also hit TE Cameron Graham and Williams off bootlegs.

Locker: 6-10, 0 TDs, 0 INT
