Titans vs. Raiders updates: Live NFL game scores, results for Sunday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Titans vs. Raiders football game
The Tennessee Titans will take on the Las Vegas Raiders at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday at home. The point spread is more or less neutral, so fans should expect a close matchup.
Tennessee was expected to have a tough go of it this past Monday, and, well, they did. Their painful 41-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills might stick with them for a while. The last quarter was a mere formality since it was already 41-7 by the third quarter. QB Ryan Tannehill had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw two interceptions with only 117 yards passing.
Meanwhile, Las Vegas fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Arizona Cardinals last week but wound up with a less-than-desirable result, falling 29-23. The Raiders were up 20 to nothing at the end of the half but somehow couldn't manage to seal the deal. The losing side was boosted by QB Derek Carr, who passed for two TDs and 252 yards on 39 attempts. Carr ended up with a passer rating of 135.30.
Special teams collected 11 points for Las Vegas. K Daniel Carlson delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Giving up four turnovers, Tennessee had had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if Las Vegas can exploit that vulnerability.
