The following players for the Steelers have been ruled as probable for Saturday's wild-card clash against Baltimore: Offensive tackle Mike Adams (illness), nose tackle Steve McLendon (shoulder), tight end Heath Miller (not injury related), tight end Michael Palmer (groin), quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (not injury related), cornerback Ike Davis and safety Troy Polamalu (knee).
Polamalu has missed the previous two games and four of the last seven due to numerous injuries. His teammates scoffed at the idea that the Steelers are better off without the services of Polamalu, after he was a surprise inactive in Week 17. However, Will Allen could cut into Polamalu's playing time on Saturday, per the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Pittsburgh is a 3-point home favorite against Baltimore.
