Tucker Kraft injury: Packers star tight end suffers torn ACL, ending breakout season, per report
Green Bay will have to press on without its talented pass catcher

Sunday was a bad day for the Green Bay Packers. Along with being upset by the visiting Carolina Panthers, the Packers saw talented tight end Tucker Kraft go down with a significant knee injury. Tests have since confirmed the team's initial fears that Kraft suffered a torn ACL, according to ESPN.
Kraft was carted into the locker room after getting hit on a running play during the third quarter. Shortly afterward, he was declared out for the remainder of the game with a knee injury. Packers coach Matt LaFleur told reporters after the game that Kraft's injury "did not look good."
A third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Kraft caught two of his three targets for 20 yards on Sunday night prior to getting injured. He entered the game with four touchdown catches in Green Bay's last three games, emerging as one of the most impressive tight ends this season.
Kraft, who turned 25 on Monday, currently leads the Packers with six TD catches. He ranks third among NFL tight ends in yards receiving (489) and second in touchdowns receiving. Kraft had a career game last week in Pittsburgh when he caught seven passes for 143 yards and two scores in Green Bay's 35-25 win over the Steelers.
In addition to the loss of Kraft, the Packers (5-2-1) had to finish the game without Matthew Golden as the rookie wide receiver sustained a shoulder injury in the third quarter.
