The Jets were led by two unlikely receivers in the passing game in Saturday's preseason win over the Giants. Ryan Spadola led the way with three catches for 110 yards and Ben Obomanu had a big game with 56 yards and a touchdown.
Spadola, a 22-year-old rookie out of Lehigh, isn't even on the team's depth chart. He hauled in a 22-yard touchdown pass from Matt Simms in the fourth quarter and added a 70-yard catch in the game.
Obomanu, who will likely see more of the field this season for the Jets, hauled in a 22-yard touchdown pass from Geno Smith in the first quarter of the game. He finished with three catches for 56 yards.
