With injuries to RBs Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart, depth at the position will be important. But coach Leslie Frazier wants more than just another warm body: “That No. 3 back really needs to be a guy who can step in and play in early downs, not just in third-down situations. We are looking for a little bit more out of the third back this season.”
