Acting coach Joe Vitt on his LB corps: "I’ll tell you, it’s probably the deepest group I’ve ever been around. I would say that linebackers 1-7 or 1-8 could start for a lot of teams in the National Football League, and that’s a compliment to the group." It's not clear which LBs he's discussing, but here's what the two-deep LB chart looks like so far during OTAs: first-team -- SLB Scott Shanle, MLB Curtis Lofton, WLB David Hawthorne; second-team -- SLB Will Herring, MLB Kadarron Anderson, WLB Chris Chamberlain. LBs Jonathan Vilma and Jonathan Casillas have missed OTAs with injuries.
Vitt feels most of Saints LBs can start all over the league
