According to interim head coach Joe Vitt, if the season started Wednesday, the Saints' starting LBs would be: SLB Scott Shanle, MLB Curtis Lofton and WLB David Hawthorne. Vitt said LB Jonathan Vilma would be his MLB if Vilma’s knee was completely healthy and Lofton would play strongside. Vitt also has LBs Chris Chamberlain and Jonathan Casillas available. Casillas signed his RFA tender Tuesday.
