Ezekiel Elliott is getting better with each passing week. After running 20 times for 51 yards in a performance he termed "average" in his NFL debut, Elliott then carried 21 times for 83 yards in Week 2. Against the Bears on Sunday Night Football, Elliott topped the century mark for the first time in his career.
He picked up chunk gains a few different times running behind a Cowboys offensive line that dominated the Bears up front even without La'el Collins for part of the night (he left with an injury at halftime) and Tyron Smith for all of it. His best run, though, came early in the fourth quarter.

Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth have spent a bunch of the telecast talking about Elliott's experience as a high school track star, and this play came after NBC had shown a package of highlights from his state championship hurdling event. So maybe we should be surprise that Zeke easily skied over poor Chris Prosinski, who had no chance here.
The Cowboys would eventually end the drive with a touchdown and extend their lead to 31-10 on a 17-yard pass from Dak Prescott (the first of his career) to Dez Bryant, who threw up his X for the first time this season.
