The Seahawks like to talk about new tight end Jimmy Graham's willingness to contribute to the running game by blocking for the first time in his career. But really, the team didn't trade for him so that he could help Marshawn Lynch run through defenders.
This is why the Seahawks brought in Graham, a tight end with 386 catches and 51 touchdowns in his career.
Now, keep in mind that Graham wasn't ripping that ball away from Richard Sherman or Earl Thomas, who finally returned to practice on Tuesday. He was stealing the ball from second-year cornerback Keelan Johnson, who has played in only two NFL games after beginning his career as an undrafted free agent.
But hey, at least the Seahawks are finally finding ways to win 50-50 balls against undrafted free agents, right?
