Eagles WR DeSean Jackson vs. Falcons CB Asante Samuel: Samuel is a former Eagles player, so you know he wants to come up big here. Jackson hasn't exactly had the season so far some expected, so this could be his chance. Samuel loves these kinds of challenges. These two used to battle hard when they practiced against each other.

Packers OLB Clay Matthews vs. Jaguars OT Eugene Monroe: Monroe is moving to the top of the tackle list and deserves Pro Bowl consideration. Matthews is having a heck of a start to his season and is always an every-day handle for any tackle. Monroe handled Jared Allen in the opener, so I imagine he will be singled here.

Jets C Nick Mangold vs. Dolphins DT Paul Soliai: If the Jets want to run on the Dolphins, it means Mangold has to win at the point. That's not easy to do against Soliai, who is an overpowering player at times and is tough to move.

NFL coverage on the go

Bears DE Julius Peppers vs. Panthers LT Jordan Gross: Peppers is another player going against his former team. While he will move up and down the line, I would imagine he will spend a lot of time on Gross, who is a good player.  Will he handle him one-on-on? He might have to with all the looks the Bears are using.

Giants WRs Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks vs. Cowboys CBs Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne: Cruz is off to a hot start and Nicks is just now looking like his normal self after early injuries. Carr did a nice job on Steve Smith last week. Both Carr and Claiborne can be physical as man-cover players.

Lions WR Calvin Johnson vs. Seahawks CBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner: Sherman has talked a big game, but he can back it up. He is one of the top corners in the league. Browner isn't far behind. Both are physical and big and can match up with Johnson. The Lions didn't feed Johnson enough last week. I bet they do here.

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III vs. Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons: You have to be fast and spy Griffin to beat him. Timmons can run well for a linebacker. I imagine he will spend a lot of time watching RG3.

Falcons LT Sam Baker vs. Eagles DE Trent Cole: Cole hasn't played as well as expected early, but he can get sacks in bunches. Baker has bounced back from some subpar seasons to play well. He is healthy, which helps.

Bears WR Brandon Marshall vs. Panthers corners Captain Munnerlyn and Josh Norman: When Carolina lost Chris Gamble for the season, it put a big hit on a secondary that wasn't great to being with. Norman is a rookie who has talent, but he's a rookie. Marshall should be able to get some plays down the field against these two.

Rams DE Robert Quinn vs. Patriots LT Nate Solder: Quinn has seven sacks on the season and was explosive last week against the Packers. Solder has struggled at times this season, so the Patriots might need to give him some help.
