Coach Rex Ryan said he had spoken with DL Kenrick Ellis who reports to jail on Friday to serve a 45-day sentence for an assault in college. Asked if he was concerned about Ellis' ability to be ready for training camp, Ryan said, "He's in great shape now. Hopefully, he'll be able to maintain it." Ryan said Ellis has gone from not being able to do pull-ups to now doing series of them while also using extra weights.
