Adam Hayward: Released by Redskins
Hayward (knee) has been released by the Redskins, The Washington Post reports.
Hayward joined the Redskins in 2014 as a special teams standout, but a broken leg that year was followed by a torn ACL last August to limit him to just 11 games played for Washington. At 32 years old, Hayward will now hope to receive a training camp invitation and ultimately catch onto a roster elsewhere.
