Orr was released by the Dolphins on Wednesday, the Sun Sentinel reports.
Orr was arrested on drug charges Wednesday. His release leaves Miami with only three healthy options at defensive tackle -- Ndamukong Suh, Jordan Phillips and Earl Mitchell.

Dolphins' Leon Orr: Promoted from practice squad
Orr was promoted Wednesday from the Dolphins' practice squad to their active roster, Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald reports.
Orr was originally on the Raiders through the preseason before ultimately being waived just prior to the start of the regular season. After some time on the Dolphins' practice squad, he'll have the opportunity to provide some depth for them at the defensive tackle position.

Leon Orr: Waived by Raiders
Orr was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday, Jimmy Durkin of the Bay Area News Group reports.
Orr didn't play a snap during Saturday's preseason game against the Titans, but had originally been expected to play a role on the Raiders' defensive line earlier in the offseason. He's a candidate to eventually make a roster elsewhere if the Raiders don't bring him back at some point.
