Commanders' Carl Davis: Going to D.C.
Washington signed Davis on Tuesday.
After appearing in three games for the Commanders in 2024, Davis will be back for the 2025 season. He was used only sparingly last year, and Washington has reinforced its defensive tackle rotation with the offseason addition of Javon Kinlaw, so Davis projects as just a depth option.

Patriots' Carl Davis: Back with New England
Davis agreed to a contract with the Patriots on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Davis appeared in all 17 games for the Patriots last season and had 19 tackles (12 solo) and one sack, though he was a healthy inactive for the playoff loss at Buffalo. He'll compete for a spot in New England's defensive-line rotation during training camp.
