Beavers (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve by the Commanders on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Beavers was placed on IR on Aug. 30 and was going to be forced to miss the entire season. Now a free agent, he'll be able to pursue opportunities with other teams, as long as he can prove he's healthy.

Beavers will have to clear the NFL's health and safety protocols before he is able to return to team facilities. The practice squad offensive lineman hasn't been elevated for a game this season, so his potential absence shouldn't impact the active roster.
