    Melton (illness) did not participate at the Cardinals' practice Thursday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports. Melton popped up on the practice report with an undisclosed illness Thursday, forcing him to sit out. The cornerback will look to return to practice Friday, but if he is ultimately unavailable for Sunday's contest against the Seahawks, Kei'Trel Clark would stand to see an increase in workload at cornerback.

  • Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Limited due to back injury

    Taylor-Demerson (back) was limited in Wednesday's practice. Taylor-Demerson made his first NFL start in Week 10 against the Jets, during which he played 100 percent of the Cardinals' defensive snaps and finished with six tackles (five solo) and two passes defended. Even with the Cardinals coming off a Week 11 bye, Taylor-Demerson appears to be nursing a back issue, which limited his practice participation Wednesday. The rookie fourth-rounder will have two chances this week to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's NFC West clash against Seattle.

  • Cardinals' Darius Robinson: Progressing through injury

    Robinson (calf) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports. Following the Week 11 bye, the Cardinals hosted a bonus practice Monday, which Robinson participated in. It was the first time Robinson participated in practice since Oct. 9, which is when his 21-day window to return from injured reserve opened. If Robinson can practice Thursday and Friday, he would put himself in a good position to make his NFL regular-season debut against the Seahawks on Sunday.

  • Cardinals' Jalen Thompson: Still nursing ankle injury

    Head coach Jonathan Gannon said Wednesday that Thompson was in the Cardinals' facility throughout the Week 11 bye rehabbing his ankle injury, Zach Gerhsman of the team's official site reports. Thompson was inactive for Week 10 against the Jets due to an ankle injury he suffered in practice. Gannon called Thompson's injury "day-to-day," so even though the sixth-year safety wasn't able to practice Wednesday, there is a chance he could suit up against the Seahawks on Sunday. Thompson will have two more chances to participate in practice this week.

  • Markus Bailey: Suspended six games

    Bailey was suspended six games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances policy Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Bailey will be ineligible to be elevated from Arizona's practice squad until Week 18 as a result of his suspension. The linebacker has appeared in one game in 2024 and failed to record any stats while playing 16 snaps on special teams in Week 7 versus the Chargers.
