  • Bills' Geno Stone: Heading to Buffalo

Stone signed a one-year contract with the Bills on Friday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Stone is coming off a career year in 2025 with the Bengals, when he logged a career-best 104 tackles (65 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and four pass defenses (one interception and one pick-six) across 17 regular-season games. He was a starting safety in each of his two years in Cincinnati, but Stone is not guaranteed to start in Buffalo, with his primary competition coming from Cole Bishop and C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

  • Dolphins' Marco Wilson: Lands with Miami

The Dolphins signed Wilson (hamstring) to a one-year contract Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Wilson was a fourth-round pick by the Cardinals in the 2021 Draft and spent nearly three full seasons with Arizona before being waived in December of 2023. He then spent the past two seasons with the Patriots and Bengals. Wilson appeared in just four regular-season contests last season before being placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. He remained there for the remainder of the campaign. Wilson, who will presumably be past his hamstring issue by the time the Dolphins take the field, will compete for a job in the team's secondary.

  • Ravens' Trey Hendrickson: Set to sign with Ravens

Hendrickson (hip/pelvis) is slated to sign a four-year, $112 million contract with the Ravens, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. After a trade agreement that would have sent star defensive end Maxx Crosby (from the Raiders) to the Ravens in exchange for two first-round picks fell apart, it didn't take long for the team to pivot to adding another impact pass rusher. Hendrickson is recovering from December core-muscle surgery, but he'll presumably be past the issue once Baltimore's offseason program begins. In seven games with the Bengals in 2025, the 31-year-old recorded 16 tackles and four sacks, but in both of the two seasons prior to that Hendrickson racked up 17.5 sacks.

  • Jets' Joseph Ossai: Joining Jets on three-year deal

Ossai (ankle) agreed to a three-year, $36 million contract with the Jets on Monday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports. Ossai has recovered from the ankle injury that sidelined him down the stretch for the Bengals in 2025. He had 5.0 sacks in 14 games prior to the injury, tying his career high from the previous season. Ossai's new deal, which includes $22.5 million in guaranteed money, can become official Wednesday at the start of the new league year. He projects as a starter at defensive end for the Jets at this point, though that could change if the team adds a pass rusher with the second pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

  • Bengals' Trey Hendrickson: Not being tagged

The Bengals will not place the franchise tag on Hendrickson (hip/pelvis) by Tuesday's deadline, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. After two contentious offseasons between the two sides, Cincinnati will allow the veteran pass rusher to reach free agency. Injuries limited Hendrickson to just seven regular-season games in 2025, in which span he tallied 16 tackles (11 solo) including 4.0 sacks, plus one pass defensed and one forced fumble. However, he played all 17 regular-season games in both 2023 and 2024 and tallied 17.5 sacks each of those years, a ceiling that will make the 31-year-old defensive end one of the top available free agents on the open market. He's recovering from December core-muscle surgery, but it isn't expected to be an issue once his new team's offseason program begins in earnest.

  • Bengals' Jalen Davis: Re-signed by Cincinnati

Davis signed a one-year contract extension with the Bengals on Friday, the team's official site reports. In seven regular-season games with the Bengals in 2025, his sixth campaign with the team, Davis recorded a career-high 20 total tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble. The 30-year-old, who has started three of the 59 regular-season contests he's played in with Cincinnati, figures to reprise his depth role in the team's secondary this coming season.

  • Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Disappoints during rookie campaign

Stewart recorded 11 total tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defensed across eight regular-season games in 2025. Stewart, a 2025 first-round pick from Texas A&M, didn't participate in the Bengals' offseason program and failed to report to training camp on time due to a post-draft contract dispute. This may have contributed to his slow start in the NFL, as he recorded just six total tackles over his first five games. Stewart also struggled to stay healthy, missing nine contests due to a lingering knee injury. Despite the setbacks, the 22-year-old likely will operate as one of the Bengals' top edge rushers during the 2026 season.

  • Bengals' Jalen Davis: Role grows in 2025

Davis posted 20 total tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble over seven regular-season games in 2025. Davis has been with the Bengals' organization since 2020 but had primarily been a special-teamer prior to this season. After being promoted from the practice squad to the active roster in early December, the Utah State product started three of Cincinnati's final seven games and logged a career-high 270 defensive snaps. Now set to enter unrestricted free agency this offseason, Davis could find work with a team in need of secondary depth ahead of the 2026 season.

  • Bengals' T.J. Slaton: Career year in Cincinnati

Slaton recorded 52 total tackles (19 solo), including 3.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season games in 2025. Slaton continued his iron-man streak this season, having now played five years in the NFL without missing a regular-season game. In his first year with the Bengals, the Florida product set career highs in total tackles and sacks while operating as one of the team's top interior defensive linemen. Entering the second season of his two-year, $14.1 million deal signed last offseason, Slaton is expected to remain an integral part of Cincinnati's defense in 2026.

  • Bengals' Barrett Carter: Surpasses 100 tackles in 2025

Carter notched 106 tackles (53 solo) and four passes defensed, including one interception, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. Carter compiled impressive production for a rookie fourth-round pick, though the actual quality of his play left something to be desired. Though Carter earned an every-down role in defense as a rookie, it won't be surprising if he has to compete this offseason to retain a starting gig, unless he manages to take a substantial step forward in his development.

  • Bengals' Dax Hill: Makes 88 stops in 2025

Hill tallied 88 tackles (57 solo) and 11 passes defensed, including one interception, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. Hill turned in respectable production totals while handling essentially an every-down role at cornerback for Cincinnati, when healthy. The 2022 first-round pick was one of the Bengals' more reliable playmakers in coverage in 2025, and he'll remain with the team for the 2026 campaign while playing out the fifth-year option on his rookie contract.

  • Bengals' B.J. Hill: Totals 4.0 sacks in 2025

Hill recorded 66 tackles (29 solo), including 4.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. Hill tallied the second-highest tackle total of his career while suiting up for all 17 of Cincinnati's regular-season games in 2025. The 30-year-old veteran has two more years remaining on his contract with the Bengals, though the team has a potential 'out' this offseason for only $7.3 million in dead cap.

  • Bengals' Myles Murphy: Noticeable improvement in Year 3

Murphy tallied a career-high 52 tackles (28 solo), including 5.5 sacks, plus three passes defensed and one fumble recovery across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. Murphy recorded career-high marks across the board while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games for the first time in his career. The 2023 first-round pick had seemingly been headed toward 'bust' status after totaling just 3.0 sacks across his first two seasons with Cincinnati, but Murphy put together encouraging tape in 2025. He'll look to take another step forward in 2026, which will be the final year of his rookie contract, assuming the team declines his fifth-year option.

  • Bengals' Jordan Battle: Leads team with 125 tackles

Battle racked up 125 tackles (62 solo) across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also tallied six passes defensed, including four interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Battle exploded onto the scene as a high-end IDP fantasy asset in 2025, more than doubling his tackle total from the year prior while suiting up for all 17 regular-season games for a third consecutive year. The 25-year-old is slated to play out the final year of his rookie contract with Cincinnati during the 2026 campaign, in which he projects to reprise a valuable starting role at safety.

  • Bengals' Geno Stone: UFA after first 100-tackle season

Stone recorded a career-high 104 tackles (65 solo), including 2.0 sacks, as well as two interceptions among his four passes defensed while playing in all 17 games in 2025. Stone took one of his two interceptions to the house for a pick-six against the Patriots in Week 12, giving him an interception-return touchdown in each of the past two seasons. The veteran safety enjoyed a strong season despite Cincinnati's struggles as a unit, and Stone should garner plenty of attention in free agency now that his two-year, $14 million contract with the Bengals has concluded, as he'll be only 27 years old at the start of next season despite having already logged 85 regular-season appearances.

  • Bengals' Demetrius Knight: Exceeds 100 tackles as rookie

Knight had 106 tackles (58 solo), including 3.0 sacks, as well as two interceptions among his seven passes defensed while playing in all 17 games in 2025. Knight was one of the few bright spots in a tough season for Cincinnati's defense. The 2025 second-round draft pick appeared in every game of his rookie regular season and started 14 while showcasing a promising mix of run-stopping and coverage ability. He'll likely reprise his role as the starting weak-side linebacker in 2026, as the Bengals have plenty of other holes to fill on defense.

With Cincinnati's season now over, the cornerback will have plenty of time to recover from the injury during the offseason.
