  • Packers' Lukas Van Ness: Won't play Week 14

Van Ness (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Van Ness aggravated a foot injury during the Packers' Week 12 win over the Vikings. He has been unable to practice since the aggravation, so he'll aim to return to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of the Packers' Week 15 clash against the Broncos on Sunday, Dec. 14. Kingsley Enagbare should continue to see more rotational snaps at defensive end behind Rashan Gary and Micah Parsons for as long as Van Ness is sidelined.

  • Packers' Nate Hobbs: Tagged as questionable Week 14

Hobbs (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Hobbs was limited in practice all week due to an MCL sprain, but he has a chance to be cleared to return from a four-game absence. If he is given the green light to play Sunday, then Hobbs could be moved to the slot corner position if Javon Bullard (ankle) doesn't suit up.

  • Packers' Javon Bullard: Questionable for Week 14

Bullard (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Bullard missed the last two practices of the week while tending to an ankle injury, but he was still tagged as questionable and has a chance to be cleared to play if he goes through Sunday's pregame warmups without sustaining a setback. If Bullard doesn't play, then Bo Melton and Kamal Hadden could be thrust into the slot corner position for Week 14.

  • Packers' Karl Brooks: Cleared to play vs. Chicago

Brooks (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bears, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. An ankle injury prevented Brooks from playing in Green Bay's Thanksgiving Day win over Detroit, but he has been cleared to return for Sunday's NFC North tilt after logging a full practice Friday. Brooks' return is a welcome one for the Packers after Devonte Wyatt (ankle) was placed on injured reserve, and the former will likely start alongside Colby Wooden at defensive tackle for the rest of the season.

  • Packers' Devonte Wyatt: Placed on IR

The Packers placed Wyatt (ankle) on injured reserve Friday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Wyatt fractured his ankle during the Packers' Thanksgiving Day win over the Lions, and the injury is severe enough for him to be sidelined for the rest of the 2025 campaign. He'll finish with 27 tackles (15 solo), including 4.0 sacks, and two pass defenses over 10 regular-season games. Wyatt's absence leaves Colby Wooden as the top candidate to enter a starting role at defensive tackle alongside Karl Brooks.

  • Packers' Javon Bullard: Absent from practice

Bullard (ankle) was a non-participant at practice Thursday. Bullard went backwards after opening the week as a limited participant Wednesday due to the ankle injury that has bothered him for the last two weeks. The safety's status for Sunday's matchup against the Bears is now in question, and he'll have one more chance to return to practice Friday.

  • Packers' Karl Brooks: Logs limited session

Brooks (ankle) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice. Brooks was injured in Week 12 and missed the Week 13 win over the Lions, but his limited participation provides him a decent chance to return in Sunday's matchup versus the Bears. His return to the lineup will be vital against the Bears' second-ranked run offense, especially with DT Devonte Wyatt (ankle) done for the season. Brooks has recorded 17 tackles (four solo) through 11 games.

  • Packers' Lukas Van Ness: Still not practicing

Van Ness (foot) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice. Van Ness missed last week's win over the Lions and was spotted in a walking boot Monday, signaling that he may not be that close to returning to action. It would be a positive signal if he could return to the practice field in a limited fashion this week. If he's unable to play again, Kingsley Enagbare should handle extra reps in this Sunday's divisional clash versus the Bears.

  • Packers' Nate Hobbs: Still limited in practice

Hobbs (knee) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice. Hobbs opened last week's short practice week as a limited participant but was unable to play in last Thursday's win over the Lions. The fifth-year cornerback will look to progress further and make his first appearance since Week 9 in this Sunday's matchup versus the Bears. It's unclear what kind of role Hobbs will have upon his return to the lineup, but he should settle in with at least 50 percent of the defensive snaps once he's fully healthy.

  • Packers' Javon Bullard: Practicing through ankle injury

Bullard (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Bullard has dealt with this injury for the last two weeks but still managed to handle his typical role in each of those games. With limited participation in tow, he has a good chance to play Sunday versus the Bears. The 2024 second-round pick has recorded 59 tackles (37 solo) and two pass breakups through 12 games.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Limited at Wednesday's practice

Cooper (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Cooper dealt with a foot injury for most of November but didn't miss a game, and now he's battling a shoulder injury to start December. It's encouraging that he's still practicing in some fashion, especially with Quay Walker's (neck) status in limbo. Ty'Ron Hopper likely would see an increase in playing time if Cooper can't play Sunday versus the Bears. Cooper has posted 86 tackles (45 solo), three pass breakups and two forced fumbles through 12 games.

When he's healthy, he's a strong fantasy option with 8.4 tackles per game through 10 contests this year.
