  • Giants' Micah McFadden: Notches double-digit stops again

McFadden totaled 11 tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 35-14 Week 15 loss to the Ravens. McFadden finished second on New York in tackles behind Dane Belton (15). That makes him a viable fantasy asset for managers in IDP leagues.

  • Giants' Dane Belton: Racks up 15 stops vs. Ravens

Belton finished Sunday's 35-14 loss to Baltimore with 15 tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one defensed pass. Among the tackles was a fourth-quarter sack of backup Ravens QB Josh Johnson, which was the second sack of Belton's career. Belton started Sunday as a result of Tyler Nubin being lost for the season due to an ankle injury.

  • Giants' Darius Muasau: Records six stops Sunday

Muasau tallied six tackles (one solo) in Sunday's 35-14 Week 15 loss to Baltimore. Muasau got another start in place of Bobby Okereke (back) and played all 59 of New York's defensive snaps. The rookie linebacker has proven to be an effective tackler when given the chance, as he has at least six tackles in all three games in which he's logged at least half of the Giants' defensive snaps this season. Muasau figures to continue to start for however long Okereke remains out of action.

  • Giants' Tyler Nubin: Undergoes ankle surgery

Nubin underwent surgery Monday to repair the ankle injury he suffered in the Giants' Week 14 loss to the Saints, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. Nubin was placed on injured reserve this past Wednesday due to the ankle injury. The rookie second-round pick had played all but two defensive snaps in the 12 regular-season games prior to the Giants' Week 14 loss, and he'll end his 2024 campaign with 98 tackles (57 solo), one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 13 games. Dane Belton will serve as the Giants' starting strong safety for the last three games of the 2024 regular season.

  • Giants' Deonte Banks: Missing third straight contest

Banks (ribs) is inactive for Sunday's Week 15 tilt against the Ravens, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Banks hurt his ribs Week 12 versus Tampa Bay and hasn't played since. He did manage to log a trio of limited practices this week after not participating at all last week, so Banks at least seems to be making progress toward a return. Cor'Dale Flott (quadriceps) is also inactive Sunday, so Adoree' Jackson and Art Green will likely handle cornerback duties against Baltimore.

  • Giants' Cor'Dale Flott: Not playing Week 15

Flott (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's battle against Baltimore, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Flott was active despite the quad injury last Sunday against the Saints, but he didn't end up seeing the field. The third-year cornerback continues to be bothered by the issue and won't suit up versus the Ravens. • Giants' Cor'Dale Flott: Unlikely to face Baltimore

Flott (quadriceps) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Flott missed last week's loss to the Saints and appears likely to be absent for Week 15. Top CB Deonte Banks (ribs) is questionable after a two-game absence. If neither can play, the Giants will likely again roll with Adoree' Jackson, Tre Hawkins and Greg Stroman at cornerback.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Thursday that Nubin (ankle), who is already on season-ending IR, will "probably" require surgery to address his injury, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports. Nubin, a 2024 second-round pick, put together an impressive rookie campaign across 12 appearances, recording 98 total tackles, one pass defended and one forced fumble. He'll now turn his attention toward making a full recovery from the ankle injury he sustained during New York's loss to the Saints in Week 14. Dane Belton (knee) is nursing an injury of his own, but health permitting, he figures to close out the 2024 season as a starter at strong safety.

  • Giants' Rakeem Nunez-Roches: Misses Wednesday's practice

Nunez-Roches (neck/shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Nunez-Roches' absence from Wednesday's practice comes as no surprise, as the veteran defensive lineman missed the Giants' Week 14 loss to the Saints due to neck and shoulder injuries.
