  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Embraces playing for Raiders

Crosby (knee) shared a message affirming his commitment to playing for Las Vegas on Wednesday, one day after the Ravens reneged on a trade agreement that would have sent him to Baltimore in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports. Crosby is working his way back from surgery undergone on his left knee in January to repair a torn meniscus. Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that the planned trade to the Ravens fell through due to a failed physical, while Crosby's agent stated on his personal social media accounts that the star pass rusher is ahead of schedule in his recovery and remains on track to retake the field in time for offseason activities. With Crosby having affirmed his commitment to the team, it appears he will play out his age-29 season and potentially beyond in Las Vegas, unless a new trade partner materializes. Baltimore has since signed edge rusher Trey Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million deal.

  • Kyu Blu Kelly: Non-tendered by Las Vegas

The Raiders did not tender Kelly (knee) as a restricted free agent Wednesday. Kelly ended the 2025 season on injured reserve after rupturing the patella tendon in his left knee Week 14 against the Broncos. Before the injury, the 2023 fifth-rounder appeared in 13 regular-season games (eight starts) for the Raiders and finished with 40 tackles (31 solo), six pass defenses (three interceptions) and one fumble recovery. It's unclear when Kelly will be cleared to return to on-field action, but once he progresses enough in his recovery to do so, he should garner interest from teams looking to bolster their secondary.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Trade to Baltimore off

Per the Raiders, the Ravens "have backed out of our trade agreement" for Crosby (knee), Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. "We will have no further comment at this time." Last Friday, it was reported that Las Vegas agreed to trade Crosby to Baltimore for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks, but the move wasn't going to become official until the new league year. With the deal now called off due to a failed physical, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the star pass rusher remains under contract with the Raiders for the time being, while the Ravens retain their first-rounders.

He suited up for all 17 regular-season games last year, notching 30 total tackles (14 solo), including 4.5 sacks, plus one forced fumble. • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Headed to Baltimore

Las Vegas is trading Crosby (knee) to the Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Crosby is a five-time Pro Bowler who racked up 69.5 sacks over 110 regular-season games spanning seven seasons with the Raiders. He dealt with a knee injury that required surgery last year and missed the final two weeks of the campaign, but he's expected to be back to full health by the beginning of training camp. Crosby is widely regarded as one of the league's top pass rushers and should immediately boost a Baltimore pass rush that tied for third to last in the NFL with just 30 sacks during the regular season in 2025. The trade can't be processed until next week, per Schefter, but it appears to be fully agreed upon.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Expected back by GM

GM John Spytek said Tuesday that he expects Crosby (knee) to play for the Raiders in 2026, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports. The star edge rusher has been the subject of trade speculation of late while he rehabs from a knee procedure, but at this stage Spytek believes that Crosby will remain with the Raiders. That aligns with new head coach Klint Kubiak's desire for him to remain a franchise pillar. On that subject, Spytek said Tuesday, "Maxx is an elite player, and I've been very upfront from the start when I got here that we're in the business of having really good players on the team, and we need a lot more of them." That said, Spytek fell short of saying that the 28-year-old is untradeable, acknowledging that in general the team is always open listening to trade offers. "I learned a long time ago, always listen," Spytek noted. "I'm always listening."

Hemingway played in just nine regular-season games as a rookie in 2025, as he was a healthy scratch for the other eight, though he did record 4.0 sacks among his nine tackles (eight solo). The defensive lineman also broke up a pass and recovered a fumble. Hemingway did manage to get on the field in each of the last five games and in seven of the last nine, playing more than 30 percent of the defensive snaps in six of those contests. The fourth-round pick will try to earn a bigger role in 2026.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Viewed as key player by new coach

Speaking at his introductory press conference Tuesday, new Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said he wants Crosby (knee) "to be a part of our success going forward, there's no doubt about that," Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. "I got to a cup of coffee with Maxx this morning," Kubiak said, via Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. "Love talking with him. And look forward to continuing those conversations. He was the first one in here working out. So that fired me up." There has been a lot of smoke since the season ended that Crosby wants out of Las Vegas after the Raiders forced him to sit out the final two games of the regular season due to a minor knee injury that required surgery in January, as a way to help the Raiders secure the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 Draft. However, Crosby has been extremely loyal to the Raiders since he was drafted in 2019, and he's a fan favorite. Getting the 28-year-old back on board should be one of the top priorities for the new coaching staff. Whether he's traded or not, Crosby is expected to complete his rehab from surgery well ahead of training camp.
