  • Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Dealing with thumb issue

Igbinoghene (thumb) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. The Auburn product played 56 defensive snaps and recorded six total tackles in the Commanders' Week 11 loss to the Eagles. However, it now appears he picked up a thumb injury in the process. Igbinoghene's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely offer the best indication of whether he can play through the issue in the Week 12 divisional matchup against the Cowboys.

  • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: Opens week as DNP

Lattimore (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday. Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters Monday that he's "hopeful" Lattimore can return to practice this week, making Wednesday's DNP a disappointing start. The 2017 first-round pick will almost certainly need to upgrade to at least limited work Thursday or Friday in order to make his Commanders debut in Week 12, when the Cowboys travel to Washington.

  • Commanders' Javontae Jean-Baptiste: Gets clearance to practice

Washington designated Jean-Baptiste (ankle) for return to practice from its injured reserve list Wednesday. Jean-Baptiste has spent the Commanders' last five games on the sidelines due to an ankle issue he picked up in Week 6 at Baltimore, but he now appears to be on track to return to action soon. His name will be one to watch for when Washington releases its last official practice reports of the week Thursday and Friday.

  • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: Could return to practice this week

Head coach Dan Quinn said Monday he's "hopeful" Lattimore (hamstring) can return to practice this week, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports. Quinn's comments don't sound overly optimistic about Lattimore's potential to play Sunday against the Cowboys, though the coach noted that the newly acquired cornerback is "trending [in] the right direction." Lattimore's practice participation throughout the week will likely provide the best indication of whether he can suit up Sunday for what would be his Commanders debut.

  • Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Collects eight tackles in loss

Wagner recorded eight tackles (four solo) during Thursday's 26-18 loss at Philadelphia. Wagner played all 70 of the Commanders' defensive snaps in Week 11, and he tallied seven-plus tackles for the ninth time this season. He's on the precipice of achieving his 13th consecutive season with at least 100 tackles and projects as a high-floor IDP option for Week 12 versus the Cowboys.

  • Commanders' Frankie Luvu: Huge day in loss

Luvu recorded 10 tackles (six solo), including 2.0 sacks, during Thursday's 26-18 loss at Philadelphia. One of Luvu's sacks in Week 11 came when he perfectly diagnosed an attempt at a flea flicker early in the second quarter and single-handedly blew it up. His 7.0 sacks on the season are already tied for a career-high total with six games still remaining to play. He's solidly on the IDP radar ahead of a Week 12 matchup versus the Cowboys.

  • Commanders' Jeremy Chinn: Commanders' leading tackler in loss

Chinn recorded 13 tackles (10 solo) during Thursday's 26-18 loss at Philadelphia. Chinn played all 70 of Washington's defensive snaps in Week 11, and he posted 13 tackles for his third straight game. He's on pace for a career year in that category and projects as a solid IDP option in most formats when the Commanders host the Cowboys in Week 12.

  • Commanders' Nick Bellore: Won't play in Week 11

Bellore (knee) is out for Thursday's game at Philadelphia, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports. Bellore was forced out of the Commanders' contest in Week 10 early by a knee injury, and now he'll be sidelined for his first game this season Thursday as he recovers. In his absence, rookie fifth-rounder Jordan Magee has one less hurdle to potentially see his first defensive snap this year.

  • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: Won't play at Philadelphia

Lattimore (hamstring) is out for Thursday's game against the Eagles, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports. Lattimore, who was acquired by trade ahead of Week 10, is now in line to miss his third straight game in Week 11 due to a lingering hamstring issue. His next chance to suit up will come in Week 12 versus the Cowboys.

Martin recorded six total tackles (two solo) and also forced a fumble in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Steelers. • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: DNP on Monday's estimation

Lattimore (hamstring) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimation. Lattimore has been sidelined since aggravating his hamstring injury in Week 8 while still with the Saints, and Wednesday's DNP is a sign that he could be in danger of missing Thursday night's matchup against the Eagles. The veteran cornerback will likely need to progress to at least limited participation Tuesday or Wednesday in order to make his Commanders debut in Week 11.

  • Commanders' Nick Bellore: Injures knee in Week 10

Bellore suffered a knee injury Sunday against Pittsburgh and is questionable to return. Bellore was deemed questionable to return with just over two minutes remaining in the game, so it may be difficult for him to return if the injury is isn't minor. Prior to his exit, the linebacker notched one tackle on special teams. Bellore entered Sunday having played just six defensive snaps on the season, but he had logged 164 special-teams snaps over nine contests.

  • Commanders' Dante Fowler: Good to go for Week 10

Fowler (groin) was a full practice participant Friday and carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the Steelers. Fowler was limited in the first two practices of the week due to a groin injury, but he was able to participate in Friday's session without restriction. Unless he suffers a setback during pregame warmups, the 2015 first-round pick will suit up Sunday. Through nine regular-season games, Fowler has logged 20 tackles (13 solo), including 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble and a pick-six.

  • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: Won't play this week

Lattimore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. The recent trade acquisition didn't play Week 9 for the Saints and now will miss Week 10 with the Commanders. Washington traded a 2025 third-round pick, 2025 fourth-rounder and 2025 sixth-rounder this Tuesday in exchange for Lattimore and a 2025 fifth-round selection. Once he's healthy, he'll presumably be one of the team's starting perimeter cornerbacks, which could mean Mike Sainristil moves back to the slot.

  • Commanders' Dante Fowler: Dealing with groin issue

Fowler (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. The first-year Commander appears to have picked up a groin injury in the team's Week 9 win over the Giants, but still managed to play 31 defensive snaps and record six total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and force a fumble. Fowler's participation in practice Thursday and Friday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play through the pain in Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

  • Commanders' Marshon Lattimore: Not practicing Wednesday

Lattimore (hamstring) did not participate at practice Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. Lattimore sat out in Week 9 due to the hamstring issue he's tending to, and now it's threatening his potential availability for Week 10. He'll probably have to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance to suit up Sunday.

  • Commanders' Bobby Wagner: Tacks on another seven stops

Wagner posted seven tackles (three solo) and a fumble recovery in Sunday's 27-22 win over the Giants. Wagner led the league in tackles last season but ranks 13th this year with 76 through nine games, trailing far behind the leader, Colts LB Zaire Franklin. Nevertheless, Wagner will comfortably surpass 100 tackles for the 13th time in his career as long as he stays healthy, and he continues to be a must-start IDP option down the stretch.
