  • Browns' Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah: May not return to NFL

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that it is unlikely that Owusu-Koramoah will play in the NFL again due to a neck injury he sustained in October of 2024. Owusu-Koramoah sustained a serious neck injury that season while attempting to tackle running back Derrick Henry, which resulted in the former being carted off the field. Owusu-Koramoah was sidelined for the entire 2025 season, and it appears as though the injury will prevent the 2021 second-rounder from playing another NFL snap. If that is the case, he would end his NFL career with 308 total tackles, including 8.0 sacks, 17 pass defenses (three interceptions) and six forced fumbles across 49 regular-season games, along with a Pro Bowl selection in 2023.

  • Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Earns rookie honors

Schwesinger (ankle) was named the 2025 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Schwesinger had a standout rookie season and quickly became a leader in the middle of Cleveland's defense. He logged 156 total tackles across 16 regular-season games, while also logging 2.5 sacks and two interceptions. Schwesinger missed the final game of the campaign with an ankle injury, but the issue is not expected to affect his preparation for his sophomore year as a pro.

  • Browns' Denzel Ward: Production dips in 2025

Ward (neck) recorded 39 total tackles (29 solo) and nine passes defensed, including one interception, across 15 regular-season games in 2025. The 28-year-old sustained a neck injury in the first quarter of Cleveland's season finale that sidelined him for the remainder of the game. Despite playing 47 more defensive snaps than he did in 2024, Ward saw declines in total tackles (49 to 39), passes defensed (19 to nine), interceptions (two to one) and forced fumbles (one to zero). Even so, the Ohio State product remained one of Cleveland's most productive corners, finishing with the second-most passes defensed on the team. Under contract through 2027, Ward will look to return to form as one of the NFL's top boundary cornerbacks ahead of next season.

  • Browns' Jerome Baker: Minimal production in 2025

Baker recorded 40 total tackles (11 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles over 17 regular-season games in 2025. The Ohio State product had the least productive campaign of his NFL career in 2025, tallying career lows in total tackles and passes defensed while playing his fewest defensive snaps (261) since entering the league in 2018. Despite the reduced role, Baker remained an important part of the Browns defense, tying his career high in forced fumbles while contributing on special teams (205 snaps). Entering unrestricted free agency this offseason, Baker likely will find work as a reserve inside linebacker ahead of the 2026 season.

Under contract through 2027, Harden may have the opportunity to compete for Cleveland's top slot corner position throughout the offseason.

  • Browns' Mohamoud Diabate: Production dips in 2025

Diabate recorded 49 total tackles (22 solo) and one forced fumble over 17 regular-season games in 2025. The 24-year-old from Utah saw declines in both total tackles (70 to 49) and passes defensed (three to zero) compared to his 2024 campaign. However, he played 266 fewer defensive snaps in 2025, operating in more of a reserve role due to the emergence of Carson Schwesinger. Set to become a restricted free agent this offseason, Diabate can be retained by the Browns if they choose to match any offer he receives. He's expected to draw interest from teams in need of inside linebacker help ahead of next season.

The third-year pro will participate in Pittsburgh's offseason activities and attempt to earn a spot on the active roster next season.

  • Browns' Alex Wright: Records career highs in 2025

Wright had career highs in tackles (37) and sacks (5.5) along with one pass defensed and one forced fumble over 14 regular-season games in 2025. Like other players on the defensive line, Wright operated outside the limelight that shone on Myles Garrett, who established a new NFL record with 23.0 sacks in 2025. However, Wright's most productive season of his four-year career did not go unnoticed, as the Browns signed him to a three-year extension in November of 2025. Playing opposite Garrett, who draws a lot of attention, could lead to more sacks for Wright in 2026.

  • Browns' Mason Graham: Quiet first season

Graham had 49 tackles (seven for loss), 0.5 sacks and four passes defensed over 17 regular-season games in 2025. It was a quiet rookie season for Graham, the fifth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, who toiled away on the interior in the shadow of edge rusher Myles Garrett. He was also overshadowed by fellow rookie and linebacker Carson Schwesinger (ankle), who led the team with 156 tackles, but Graham was a steady presence at defensive tackle. His 763 snaps led all rookie interior linemen, and he finished second on the team in quarterback pressures (36) behind Garrett. Graham did enough to earn a nod on the All-Rookie team.

Webb had four tackles and returned a fumble for a touchdown in Sunday's 20-18 win over Cincinnati in Week 18. Webb entered the game for an injured Denzel Ward (neck) and impacted Cleveland's second consecutive win over a division rival to close out the regular season. After Devin Bush returned an interception 97 yards for a score, Webb scooped up a fumble on the Bengals' next possession and returned it 47 yards for a touchdown. The latter was signed off the Titans' practice squad in mid-November and was used sparingly before his Week 18 heroics. It was the second pick-six of the season for Bush and third of his career. With Carson Schwesinger (ankle) inactive, Bush picked up some extra tackles (a season high) and upped his season total to 125 stops, a new career high.

  • Browns' Myles Garrett: Sets all-time sack record

Garrett recorded 1.0 sack on his only tackle and added a second QB hit in Sunday's 20-18 win over the Bengals. His fourth-quarter takedown of Joe Burrow put Garrett in the history books, as it gave him 23.0 sacks on the season -- breaking the NFL record of 22.5 previously held by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt. Garrett's stellar campaign was one of the few bright spots for the Browns in 2025, and he's delivered at least 14.0 sacks in five straight seasons. With a contract that runs through 2030, the 30-year-old edge rusher should return as the centerpiece of the Cleveland defense next year.

  • Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Heads to IR with ankle injury

The Browns placed Schwesinger (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday. Schwesinger was ruled out for the Browns' season finale Friday, but the move to injured reserve likely created space for Edefuan Ulofoshio to move up to the active roster. Schwesinger, a 2025 second-round pick, ends his stellar rookie campaign with 156 tackles (67 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and three pass breakups, including two interceptions. Jerome Baker will likely have an expanded role in Week 18 with Schwesinger out.

  • Browns' Myles Garrett: Officially cleared for Week 18

Garrett (hip) doesn't carry a designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. The veteran pass rusher sits at 22.0 sacks through 16 regular-season games and is one sack shy from surpassing Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt for the NFL's single-season record.
