  • Texans' Ja'Marcus Ingram: Headed to Houston

    Ingram was claimed off waivers by the Texans on Thursday. Ingram was cut loose by the Bills on Monday after Buffalo claimed Darius Slay on the open market. Ingram will now head to Houston, having produced six total tackles (five solo) over seven contests with the Bills this season.   • Texans' Tim Settle: Set for season-ending surgery

    Settle (foot) is set to undergo season-ending foot surgery, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Settle will end the 2025 season with 15 tackles (six solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three passes defensed through 12 games. The starting defensive tackle's absence the rest of the way will represent a significant loss to a dominant Texans defense. With Settle sidelined, Tommy Togiai is in line to see significantly more defensive snaps for the remainder of the season.

Indianapolis quarterback Daniel Jones shied away from Stingley until the Colts' final offensive snap, when the cornerback broke up a pass intended for Michael Pittman.     Reed needs surgery after breaking a metal plate in his forearm during Sunday's 20-16 win over the Colts, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Reed had a metal plate in his forearm from his time at Penn State, and it was damaged while trying to bring down Jonathan Taylor in the Week 13 win. The rookie safety had just earned a starting spot after recording 12 total tackles and one fumble recovery in the Week 12 victory over the Bills. The fingerprints of Houston's defense were all over this win, and Anderson was instrumental.
