Ebner (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Ebner has already missed four games with the injury and will now have to miss an additional three at minimum due to his placement on IR.

Ebner (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Buccaneers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Ebner didn't return to practice following the Giants' Week 10 bye, and he'll be forced to miss a third consecutive game. J.R. Reed should serve as the primary backup at strong safety.

Ebner (ankle) won't play in the Giants' Week 9 contest against the Raiders, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Ebner was unable to practice leading up to Week 8, and he ultimately wasn't able to play against the Chiefs. The safety will miss his second consecutive game, and the Giants will be without the special-teams option for the third time this season.
