Brittan Golden: Works out with Bucs
Golden (calf) worked out for the Buccaneers on Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Golden reached an injury settlement with the Giants on Sep. 9. His workout in Tampa Bay indicates he has recovered from the calf injury he was dealing with. The 31-year-old played his first five seasons with the Cardinals, but he hasn't been on an active roster since the 2017 season.

Brittan Golden: Parts ways with Giants
Golden (calf) was released off the Giants' injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Golden landed on IR following initial roster cutdowns and was eligible to return after eight games, but he'll instead head to free agency. Golden hasn't seen regular-season action since 2017 with Arizona and is free to sign elsewhere once recovered from the calf injury.

Giants' Brittan Golden: Out for first eight weeks
Golden was placed on injured reserve by the Giants on Saturday, Micheal Eisen of the team's official site reports.
Golden suffered the injury during the final preseason game Thursday and was unable to return to the game. He'll have to sit out a minimum of eight weeks and, barring an injury settlement, will stay on the Giants' roster.

Giants' Brittan Golden: Questionable to return
Golden is questionable to return to Thursday's preseason contest against New England due to a calf injury, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
It's unclear how serious the issue is. The injury certainly has unfortunate timing, as Golden has had a decent preseason so far. The 31-year-old caught a team-high 59 yards in last week's preseason contest against Cincinnati in addition to scoring a 68-yard punt-return touchdown.

Giants' Brittan Golden: Puts versatility on display
Golden caught two of four targets for a team-high 59 yards in Thursday's 25-23 preseason win over the Bengals. He also scored a 68-yard punt return touchdown and muffed a catch on another punt return for a fumble.
Golden came down with a pair of chunk gains from rookie quarterback Daniel Jones, though his inability to get out of bounds on a 24-yard reception allowed the clock to run out on the first half with the Giants in Bengals territory. The 31-year-old receiver also pounced on a Jones fumble, as he's doing everything he can to keep himself in the mix for a roster spot.

Golden dealt with a groin issue early in camp but appears to be healed now. He saw 14 offensive snaps and is back in the mix for a roster spot.

Giants' Brittan Golden: Sidelined on Saturday
Golden did not participate in Saturday's practice due to a groin injury, Dan Duggan of The Athletic report.
Golden, who has not appeared in regular-season action since playing in 13 games with the Cardinals in 2017, is certainly not a lock to make the Giants' 53-man roster as he hopes to prove himself worthy throughout the preseason.

Giants' Brittan Golden: Signs futures deal with Giants
Golden signed a reserve/future contract with the Giants on Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.
Golden didn't play an NFL snap this season after fracturing his arm in December 2017. The 30-year-old played in 44 games over four years with the Cardinals, totaling only 18 receptions for 293 yards and one touchdown.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Placed on IR
Golden (arm) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
The roster move was fully expected after Golden fractured his arm in Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Redskins and required surgery a day later to address the injury. According to Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com, Golden will need three to four months to recover from surgery, which could result in the wideout drawing limited interest when he becomes an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. He'll finish the 2017 campaign with five catches for 70 yards and no touchdowns across 13 appearances.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Fractures arm Sunday
Golden broke his arm in Sunday's game against the Redskins, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Golden's main contributions are as a return man, since he has just five receptions for 70 yards this season. With a broken arm, though, Golden's season is effectively over, so Kerwynn Williams likely will take over return duties, while Chad Williams shifts up a spot on the wideout's side of the depth chart.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Cleared for Week 13
Golden (groin) doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Rams, Mike Jurecki of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
Golden put in a full practice Friday, which was likely enough for the Cardinals to give him clearance for Sunday after the wideout missed the Week 12 win over the Jaguars with the injury he's been battling for nearly a month. With only five receptions for 70 yards in 10 games this season, Golden shouldn't be expected to see many looks in the Cardinals' passing attack the rest of the way.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Inactive Week 12
Golden (groin) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Jaguars, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Golden joins John Brown (turf toe) and Carlton Agudosi (coach's decision) in street clothes, leaving Larry Fitzgerald, Jaron Brown, J.J. Nelson and rookie Chad Williams as the only active wideouts. In the end, Golden's special teams role will likely fall on D.J. Foster's shoulders.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Deemed questionable
Golden (groin) is considered questionable for the Cardinals' Week 12 game versus the Jaguars, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Golden was unable to participate in both Thursday's and Friday's practices, so he appears to be more on the doubtful side of his questionable designation. Primarily a special teams contributor, a potential absence does not figure to affect the Cardinals' offense. Final confirmation on his status is unlikely to be determined until closer to kickoff.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Full practice Wednesday
Golden (groin) practiced fully Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
For the first time since Week 1, Golden was contained entirely to special teams in Thursday's loss to the Seahawks, earning 11 snaps on the various units. Because fellow wideout John Brown is dealing with a back injury, there's a chance Golden gets onto the field on offense this weekend. Having said that, Golden's game log includes just five receptions (on eight targets) for 70 yards this season, so he holds next to no appeal in the fantasy realm.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Available Thursday
Golden (groin) is listed as active Thursday against the Seahawks.
For the second game in a row, Golden is available to head coach Bruce Arians after nursing a groin injury in practice. On Sunday, Golden logged a season-low six snaps -- two of them on offense -- meaning he holds little relevance in an offense directed by journeyman quarterback Drew Stanton.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Questionable for Thursday
Golden (groin) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Seahawks, Mike Jurecki of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
Golden was limited in practice this week after playing six snaps (two offensive) in last Sunday's win over the 49ers. The 29-year-old would likely see a similar workload if able to play Thursday. Chad Williams (back) would likely step in for said snaps if Golden cannot play, but he is also listed as questionable.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Playing Sunday
Golden (groin) is active for Sunday's game at San Francisco, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Golden and fellow fringe wideout Chad Williams followed up Wednesday's limited practice with no activity both Thursday and Friday, but only the former is available Sunday. While he'll round out the receiving corps, Golden will make his primary contribution on special teams.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Downgraded to nonparticipant Thursday
Golden didn't take part in Thursday's practice due to a groin injury, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Golden was a limited participant in the Cardinals' first practice of the week Wednesday, so the downgrade in his involvement a day later doesn't portend well for his status for Sunday's game against the 49ers. The Cardinals will wait and see what Golden is able to do at Friday's session before determining his designation heading into Sunday, but even if his health checks out fine, the wideout isn't expected to have a significant role in the Cardinals' offensive game plan. Golden's three catches in the Cardinals' last game Oct. 22 against the Rams represented a season-high total.

Cardinals' Brittan Golden: Questionable for Week 9
Golden (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Mike Jurecki of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
Golden started off the week as a limited practice participant before being held out of team sessions Thursday and Friday, putting his status for Sunday on uncertain ground. The 29-year-old is unlikely to see significant offensive snaps regardless of his health.
