Shaq Lawson: Signs with Panthers
Lawson was signed to the Panthers' practice squad Tuesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Lawson spent the 2023 season with the Bills, recording 13 total tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, over 16 games. He will now provide the Panthers with a veteran option on the defensive line, which has been hampered by injuries all year long.

Bills' Shaq Lawson: Expected to suit up Sunday
Lawson was listed as a full participant Friday after missing Thursday's practice session due to an illness.
Lawson has become a role player at this stage of his career with just 13 tackles -- including 1.0 sacks -- on the season while exceeding 50 percent of the defensive snaps in only two games. Nevertheless, the Bills' defensive line has stood out all season amid a banged-up defense, so having a good rotational piece like Lawson available can only help.

Bills' Shaq Lawson: Avoids injury report
Lawson (toe) is not listed on Wednesday's injury report, Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network reports.
Lawson's toe injury forced him to sit out Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, but it looks like he's back to full health. Getting Lawson back on the field will be key for a Buffalo defense that placed both Matt Milano (leg) and DaQuan Jones (pectoral) on injured reserve Wednesday. The Bills take on the Giants in Week 6.

Bills' Shaq Lawson: Not playing Week 5
Lawson (toe) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London.
Lawson will be one of two edge rushers inactive for the contest, as he'll be joined in street clothes by Greg Rousseau (foot). Fortunately for Buffalo, the team will be getting some reinforcement to its pass rush in the form of Von Miller (knee), who is expected to be available on a limited pitch count in his season debut after being reinstated from the PUP list. Once Miller is fully ramped up and Rousseau is fully healthy, Lawson could end up getting lost in the shuffle in a deep pass-rushing group that also includes Leonard Floyd and A.J. Epenesa.
