Falcons' Bradley Pinion: Will play Sunday
Pinion (illness) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Titans, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Pinion was under the weather Friday, so the Falcons signed Pat O'Donnell to the practice squad and elevated him Saturday as an emergency option. However, Pinion is now healthy and will resume his usual duties versus Tennessee.

The Falcons re-signed Pinion to a three-year, $8.65 million contract Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Pinion's new deal includes $4.325 million in guaranteed money, and he's now slated to remain with Atlanta through the 2025 campaign. The 28-year-old averaged a career-best 45.9 yards per punt across 17 games played this past season.

Falcons' Bradley Pinion: Inks deal with Atlanta
Pinion was signed by the Falcons on Thursday.
Pinion will stay in the NFC South after being released three seasons into his four-year contract with the Buccaneers earlier this June. The 28-year-old punter averaged a career-low 42.5 yards per punt over 15 games in 2021, and he failed to play a full season for the first time in his career while dealing with a torn hip labrum. Pinion appears to be healthy once more this offseason and should be immediately favored to earn Atlanta's top punting spot over Seth Vernon.

Bradley Pinion: Gets cut
Tampa Bay cut Pinion on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Pinion's release may not come as a surprise after Tampa Bay selected punter Jake Camarda in the fourth round of the draft in April. The 28-year-old averaged a career-low 42.5 yards per attempt last season, but he played through a torn hip labrum and impingement, which could have contributed to his poor results. However, he recently passed a physical and should be ready for next season as he aims to find work with another squad.

Buccaneers' Bradley Pinion: Full practice Wednesday
Pinion was able to log a full practice Wednesday.
The punter entered the week on the reserve/COVID-19 list and was dealing with a hip issue, but his full participation Wednesday clears any concern over his availability for Sunday's matchup with the Panthers. Pinion missed the Buccaneers' Week 17 victory over the Jets and will now look to use Week 18 to knock off any rust ahead of the team's playoff game next week.

Buccaneers' Bradley Pinion: Activated from COVID-19 list
The Buccaneers activated Pinion (hip/illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Pinion tested positive for COVID-19 last Friday and was unavailable for Sunday's Week 17 win over the Jets. However, he'll now be cleared to rejoin the team. The 27-year-old was bothered by a hip injury last Wednesday and Thursday, so it's not yet clear whether he'll have any limitations ahead of Sunday's game against Carolina.

Buccaneers' Bradley Pinion: Placed on COVID-19 list
The Buccaneers placed Pinion (hip) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Pinion wasn't present for practice Wednesday and Thursday due to a right hip injury, and he'll now be forced to spend some time away from the team while in quarantine following his positive test for the virus. The Buccaneers will need to add another punter to the roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.
