Dorial Green-Beckham: Arrested on drug charge
Green-Beckham was arrested Wednesday in Springfield, Mo. for possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and resisting/interfering with an arrest, Harrison Keegan of the Springfield News-Ledger reports.
It's the latest in a long line of legal issues for Green-Beckham, a second-round pick of the Titans in 2015. The wideout played two seasons in the NFL before being cut by the Eagles shortly before training camp in 2017. Considering Green-Beckham's name hadn't been popping up on the workout circuit in recent months, this latest arrest only further dims the possibility of the 25-year-old appearing in the NFL again.

Dorial Green-Beckham: Not claimed on waivers
Green-Beckham passed through waivers unclaimed, ESPN.com's Adam Schefter reports.
The 2015 second-round pick was released by the Eagles on Friday and apparently didn't draw any interest despite carrying a base salary south of $1 million. He should still be able to find a new team before training camp if he's willing to accept the minimum salary for a third-year player and a small signing bonus. Green-Beckham likely would be a long shot to make the final roster even if he were to sign with a receiver-needy team.

Dorial Green-Beckham: Released Friday morning
The Eagles released Green-Beckham on Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
The writing was on the wall when the Eagles drafted Mack Hollins and Shelton Gibson after already signing Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith. With 2015 first-round pick Nelson Agholor reportedly shining this offseason, Green-Beckham would've faced competition from Gibson and a few other players for the possibility of one roster spot, needing the Eagles to keep six wide receivers just to have a chance. Green-Beckham is likely pleased about the transaction, as he still has some time before training camp to find a team that'll give him a better shot at making the Week 1 roster. The 40th overall pick from the 2015 Draft will eventually join his third NFL franchise in as many years, as he's yet to make good on the superb athleticism that made him a five-star recruit and early draft pick. He's shown little to no ability to separate from NFL cornerbacks, but there should still be a few teams willing to give the 6-foot-5 receiver a look in training camp as a potential red-zone threat.

Eagles' Dorial Green-Beckham: Unlikely to make final roster
Green-Beckham is a long shot to make the Eagles' final roster, Paul Domowitch of philly.com reports.
Alshon Jeffery, Jordan Matthews, and Torrey Smith figure to open the season as the team's top-3 receivers, with Green-Beckham, Nelson Agholor, Paul Turner, fourth-round rookie Mack Hollins, and fifth-round rookie Shelton Gibson competing to fill out the depth chart. As a non-factor on special teams, Green-Beckham wouldn't have any real use unless he managed to seize a spot among the top 4 on the wideout depth chart -- an unlikely scenario. Hollins, Gibson, Agholor, and Turner would all be more likely to contribute on special teams.
