Pullard has certainly earned his stay in the lineup, recording at least eight tackles in each of the last four games. Perryman will take over as the weakside linebacker, bumping down Jatavis Brown's snaps as a result. Despite the shakeup in the linebacking corps, there's a chance that Perryman does move back inside if Pullard's play slips, but at least for the moment, it's Pullard's job to lose.

Pullard piled up 12 tackles (10 solo) in Sunday's 21-13 loss to the Patriots.
Once again, Pullard saw the majority of snaps at linebacker, with Korey Toomer occasionally acting as the second middle linebacker. While Pullard did get dinged up late in the fourth quarter, the injury didn't appear to be serious. Given the Chargers will be on bye next week, the versatile linebacker should be available for IDP owners come Week 10 against the Jaguars.

Pullard led all Chargers linebackers in snaps by a wide margin, as defensive coordinator Gus Bradley opted to use a wide variety of safeties to provide versatility to the scheme. Given the results, it wouldn't be a surprise to see a similar scenario play out against the pass-heavy Patriots next week.

Pullard racked up 10 tackles (two solo) and an interception in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Raiders.
It was the first interception of Pullard's career and couldn't have come at a better time, given that the Chargers managed to rally in the fourth quarter thanks in large part to the pivotal pick. Pullard has been easily the biggest surprise on the Chargers defense, leading the unit in tackles for the second consecutive week despite being listed as a depth linebacker to begin the season. Given that Pullard played in 93 percent of the team's snaps -- while Korey Toomer and Jatavis Brown logged just 59 and 34 percent, respectively -- it seems the 25-year-old is no longer merely a depth option. As a result, IDP owners would be hard-pressed to find a better under-the-radar player to fill in for their teams.

Pullard continues to be one of the biggest surprises of the Chargers' linebacking core, as the third-year pro has now accumulated at least six tackles in every game he's played in. While Pullard's days as an IDP option may be coming to close once Denzel Perryman returns from an ankle injury, the oft-injured second-year linebacker is not designated to return from the injured reserve list until Week 8. As a result, Pullard remains an under-the-radar name for IDP owners looking for a quality stand-in.

Pullard seems to slot in as a second-string linebacker, but he played a majority of defensive snaps through the first two weeks before his injury. He recorded 17 tackles (10 solo) and likely earned himself more playing time moving forward. He's not quite yet there as a full-fledged IDP threat, though, since it's his first season in which he's playing more on defense than special teams.
