Jayson DiManche: Agrees to injury settlement
DiManche (hamstring) was released by the 49ers on Monday after agreeing an injury settlement, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
DiManche was waived last week after missing a week of practice with a hamstring injury and reverted to the 49ers' injured reserve list, but he'll now be free to sign elsewhere once he's deemed healthy.

DiManche has not practiced this week after suffering from a hamstring injury, and the team will look for the linebacker to clear waivers so they can place him on injured reserve. DiManche would have been competing for a depth spot on the 49ers during training camp.

DiManche inked a deal with the 49ers about a month ago after playing in just one game with the Browns over the past two seasons. The fact that he's being let go this early in the offseason isn't encouraging about the potential for DiManche to make a regular-season roster, but he'll continue to work out over the summer with the hope of receiving a training camp invite elsewhere.
