Giants' Tashawn Bower: Headed to New York
Bower signed with the Giants on Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Bower is now reunited with defensive line coach Andre Patterson, who helped the veteran for three years in Minnesota. The 28-year-old also had brief stints with New England and Las Vegas over the past two seasons. After going undrafted in 2017, the New Jersey native has appeared in 26 games throughout his five-year career, tallying 23 tackles and 2.0 sacks. Expect Bower to compete for a depth role on the Giants' defensive line ahead of the coming season.

Bower (illness) is no longer listed on the Raiders' injury report, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Bower was inactive for his squad's Week 8 matchup against the Saints due to illness, but he appears to have returned to health. He hasn't appeared in a game since Week 8, so he's unlikely to see much playing time in Week 9 despite returning to full strength.

Bower was forced to exit Monday night's 38-9 loss to the Bills after registering one solo tackle over 15 defensive snaps. He collected two of his three starts between Weeks 15 and 16, but now the 25-year-old's season will end on IR. Bower closes out the 2020 campaign having posted 11 tackles and one pass deflection over seven appearances.
