Griffin was immediately added back to Seattle's practice squad after being let go Wednesday. The cornerback failed to record any stats while playing three defensive snaps in the team's 31-17 win over the Steelers in Week 2.

Griffin (personal) was present during Tuesday's training camp practice, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com, Griffin had missed the prior week and a half of team activities due to a personal matter. He did not practice Tuesday despite his presence, so it's still unclear whether he'll be available for Thursday's preseason bout versus the Raiders. Until he's back with the team in a full capacity, 2024 fifth-rounder Nehemiah Pritchett is a candidate to see increased work.

Griffin, who suited up for all 17 regular-season games with Minnesota in 2024, now joins forces with Seattle on a one-year deal reportedly worth up to $4 million. The 29-year-old brings reliability and experience to the Seahawks' cornerback corps, and he'll likely spend training camp competing with Josh Jobe for the No. 3 gig behind starters Riq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon.

Vikings' Shaquill Griffin: Plays in all 17 games for Minnesota
Griffin finished the 2024 season with 41 tackles (33 solo) and six pass breakups, including two interceptions, across 17 regular-season contests.
After flopping as a free-agent signing in Jacksonville, the Vikings were Griffin's fourth team in the last three seasons after splitting the 2023 campaign with the Texans and Panthers. Griffin's 17 appearances marked his first full season since 2018 with Seattle. He turns 30 years old in July and is scheduled to again be a free agent. Perhaps the healthy 2024 as the Vikings' third cornerback will be able to land Griffin a chance to start on his next contract.

Griffin managed to record an interception for just the second time since 2021. He will look to build off this strong performance against the Jets in a Week 5 matchup in London.
