Giants' Zach Fulton: Retiring from football
Fulton announced his retirement Friday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Fulton was able to start all 16 games for the Texans last season, so this retirement comes as a bit of a surprise. It is interesting to note that Fulton is the fourth Giants player to retire this summer, causing some wonder if players aren't buying into coach Joe Judge's old-school ways.

Houston cut Fulton on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
The Texans will only be left with $750,000 in dead money after excising Fulton from the roster. The veteran guard could find another starting role at his next landing spot, but he seems equally likely to settle for a depth job.

The Texans regard Fulton (shoulder) as a game-time decision for Week 12 against the Titans on Monday night, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
