Washington (undisclosed) agreed to an injury settlement with the Cowboys, Patrick Walker of 247 Sports reports.
Washington was waived with an undisclosed injury Aug. 25, but he cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve. Agreeing to an injury settlement removes him from IR and effectively means he's now free to sign elsewhere.

Corey Washington: Released by Bills
Washington was released by the Bills on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of The National Football Post reports.
Washington hasn't played since appearing in five games for the Giants as an undrafted rookie in 2014. He's dealt with injuries (knee) since then that have prevented him from catching on with another team. He'll look to remain healthy and bounce back with another team in 2017.

Bills' Corey Washington: Signs with Bills
Washington signed with the Bills on Friday, ESPN.com's Mike Rodak reports.
A 2014 undrafted free agent, Washington parlayed a strong first preseason into a roster spot with the Giants, but he only caught five passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in 14 games as a rookie. He injured his knee the following preseason and hasn't played in a game since, but the receiver-needy Bills could provide the 25-year-old with a decent opportunity to make the 53-man roster. Washington likely will still head into training camp as a long shot, if he even sticks with the team until then.

Corey Washington: Waived by Lions
The Lions waived-injured Washington (knee) on Friday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Washington's recovery from the knee injury he suffered last August apparently was not going as planned, so the Lions decided to remove him from the roster in order to free up a spot for another, presumably healthier, player.
