Malik Reed: Brought in by Miami
The Dolphins signed Reed to their practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Prior to being picked up by the Dolphins, Reed appeared in four games for the Raiders this season, recording three total tackles on 63 defensive snaps. The 27-year-old tallied 8.0 sacks for the Broncos in 2020 and he could very well be elevated to Miami's active roster, seeing work as a rotational edge rusher with the team without Bradley Chubb (knee) and Jaelan Phillips (Achilles) for the remainder of the year.

Dolphins' Malik Reed: Agrees to terms with Miami
The Dolphins signed Reed on Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Reed is coming off the worst season of his career, but he will now reunite with Maimi's defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, whom the 26-year-old had his most productive seasons with while playing under him in Denver. Reed should be expected to serve as solid rotational depth behind starters Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips.

Steelers' Malik Reed: Abruptly downgraded to inactive
Reed (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Though it was previously noted that Reed would be good to go for the Week 14 divisional matchup versus Baltimore, he's since been ruled inactive and won't suit up this weekend as a result of a nagging back issue. In the 235-pounder's absence, Jamir Jones could receive additional usage at outside linebacker behind starters T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith.

Steelers' Malik Reed: Set to play Sunday
Reed (back), who was previously questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, had his injury status removed and will play against the Ravens on Sunday, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.
Reed has been dealing with a back injury for the past few weeks now, but he will again play through it in the matchup against the Ravens. The 26-year-old will provide rotational depth behind T.J. Watt (ribs) and Alex Highsmith and could see increased playing time if Watt is limited once again.

Steelers' Malik Reed: Questionable for Sunday
Reed (back) was added to the injury report Saturday and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Reed's status for Sunday's game is now in doubt despite being a full participant in practice throughout the week. The Steelers could be very thin at outside linebacker, as T.J. Watt is also questionable with a rib injury, and if either can't play it would likely lead to Alex Highsmith and Jamir Jones getting more playing time.

Steelers' Malik Reed: Suiting up Sunday
Reed (personal) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Saints, Chris Adamski of Trib Live reports.
Reed was originally listed as questionable to play in Sunday's contest versus New Orleans due to personal reasons, but it appears like he'll be able to give it a go in Week 10. The 26-year-old will likely give up some snaps to last year's Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt, who's suiting up for the first time since the team's season opener due to knee and pectoral issues.
