Giants' Greg Stroman: Sidelined for Week 18
Stroman (shin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Stroman returned to practice in a limited fashion this week after missing the Giants' last two games due to shoulder and shin injuries. Despite his return to practice, the 28-year-old will be sidelined for a third consecutive game Sunday, marking the end of his 2024 campaign. Stroman appeared in four games with the Giants this season, recording 10 total tackles across 126 defensive snaps.

Giants' Greg Stroman: Missing another week
Stroman (shoulder/shin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Colts, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
After playing a season-high 54 defensive snaps in the Giants' Week 15 loss to the Ravens, Stroman is set to miss his second consecutive game due to shoulder and shin injuries. The Virginia Tech product has yet to practice since sustaining those injuries, so he could be in jeopardy of missing the Giants' Week 18 divisional matchup against the Eagles as well.

Giants' Greg Stroman: Won't play Week 16
Stroman (shoulder/shin) was downgraded to out Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Falcons, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Stroman had previously been deemed doubtful for the contest after not practicing all week, but he's now been ruled out and won't travel with the team to Atlanta. Injuries to his teammates had pushed Stroman up the depth chart in recent weeks, and he logged a season-high 92 percent of New York's defensive snaps last Sunday in a start against Baltimore. The Giants' secondary is getting Cor'Dale Flott back Sunday, and Deonte Banks (ribs) could also return, softening the impact of Stroman's absence.

Bears' Greg Stroman: Joins active roster
The Bears signed Stroman to their active roster Saturday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports.
The 27-year-old's signing could mean that Chicago is preparing to be without its top two cornerbacks in Jaylon Johnson (doubtful, shoulder) and Kyler Gordon (questionable, calf) in Sunday's affair. Stroman has appeared in seven games for the Bears this season, recording 19 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, while also nabbing an interception.

Bears' Greg Stroman: Comes up big
Stroman collected a sack and seven tackles in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday.
With the Bears missing Jaylon Johnson (hamstring) and Kyler Gordon (hand), Stroman took advantage of his opportunity with an excellent fantasy performance. He could be a useful IDP as long as he continues to see a high snap share while his injured teammates heal up.

Bears' Greg Stroman: Returns to Chicago
Stroman was signed to the active roster from the Bears' practice squad on Thursday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports.
Stroman appeared in two games with the Bears last season and spent training camp with them as well, but he didn't make the final cut and ended up on the practice squad. However, with Kyler Gordon (hand) going on injured reserve Thursday, Stroman will now be called upon again to contribute. He should serve a depth role in the secondary Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Bears' Greg Stroman: Joining the Bears
Stroman signed a one-year deal with Chicago on Thursday.
Stroman will sign with the Bears after trying out for the team during this past week's voluntary minicamp. The 2018 seventh-rounder tallied 38 tackles, four passes defended and one interception over 15 games during his rookie season with the Commanders, but managed to play just three defensive and 43 special-teams snaps while spending most of the next two seasons on injured reserve. Stroman was waived in August of 2021 after starting training camp on the PUP list for Washington and signed with Buffalo's practice squad in December.

Greg Stroman: Joins Buffalo's practice squad
Stroman (undisclosed) signed with Buffalo's practice squad Thursday.
This signing suggests Stroman is over the injury that bothered him while he was in camp with Washington. If the Bills like what they see from Stroman in practice, they could add him to the roster to provide depth in a secondary that recently lost Tre'Davious White to a season-ending ACL tear.

Greg Stroman: Waived after injury settlement
Stroman (undisclosed) was waived by Washington from the PUP list Tuesday.
Stroman began training camp on the physically unable to perform list and was never able to get healthy. The 25-year-old was placed on injured reserve last October due to a foot injury, but what is ailing him this year is unknown.
