  • Phil Haynes: Gets look from Miami

Haynes (toe) visited the Dolphins on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Haynes missed much of last season due to a toe injury and was limited to eight games in 2023. However, his visit with Miami suggests the guard is healthy and ready to compete for a starting role in 2024. The 28-year-old started all eight games he played for the Seahawks last season.

  • Seahawks' Phil Haynes: Returns to practice

The Seahawks designated Haynes (toe) for return from their injured reserve list Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The move opens a 21-day window during which Seattle can officially activate Haynes before it would be forced to shut him down for the remainder of the season. The Seahawks' official injury reports over the week will give an idea of whether he will be able to suit up in Week 18.

  • Seahawks' Phil Haynes: Shifts to IR

The Seahawks placed Haynes (toe) on injured reserve Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Haynes didn't practice all week and had previously been ruled out for Seattle's Week 13 contest, but he'll now be forced to miss the team's next four games after going on IR. The veteran offensive lineman had started all eight games he appeared in for the Seahawks this season, and Damien Lewis is expected to take over at left guard until Haynes is able to return to the field.

  • Seahawks' Phil Haynes: Back for Week 9

Haynes (calf) is active for Sunday's game at Baltimore.

Hayes was sidelined the past two games by a calf injury, but he'll returned to the field Sunday after being labeled questionable. He return to his starting spot at right guard, while fill-in starter Anthony Bradford (ankle) is inactive.

  • Seahawks' Phil Haynes: Logs full practice Thursday

Haynes (calf) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Haynes missed his second straight game in Week 8 against the Browns while dealing with a lingering calf issue. He was limited in Wednesday's session, but the fact that he was able to practice in full Thursday indicates that he's trending towards resuming his starting role at right guard for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
