The Jets waived Bryant (concussion) from injured reserve Tuesday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
Bryant is still awaiting his NFL debut after entering the league as an undrafted rookie in 2018. He'll be free to sign with another team if he clears waivers, which is expected considering he's not healthy yet.

The severity of the issue is unknown, although head coach Adam Gase told Connor Hughes of The Athletic that it is serious. Bryant was healthy coming into training camp after recovering from an undisclosed injury. When healthy, the 23-year-old is expected to compete for a depth role in the Jets' secondary.

Bryant signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in July and has been on the team's practice squad since being let go at roster cutdowns. Plenty of healthy bodies remain in the secondary for New York, as the 25-year-old is likely to primarily serve on special teams.
