Dylan Thompson: Released by Rams
Thompson was released by the Rams on Thursday, Myles Simmons of the team's official site reports.
Thompson was also released by the Rams prior to last year's regular season, so the South Carolina product has yet to play a single down in the NFL. Jared Goff and Sean Mannion are the only two remaining quarterbacks on the Rams' roster.

Rams' Dylan Thompson: Heading to LA
Thompson signed a contract with the Rams on Tuesday, Travis Langer of the Rams' official site reports.
Thompson spent last year's preseason with the Rams before being released at the beginning of the regular season. The third quarterback on the roster, Thompson must prove his worth this go-around, leaving the Rams to consider how many quarterbacks they want on their 53-man roster.
