The Cowboys signed Huggins to a contract Tuesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Huggins played in 13 regular-season games for the Falcons in 2023 -- including five starts -- and finished with 22 tackles (seven solo) and one fumble recovery. He'll now compete for a depth spot at defensive tackle behind starters Osa Odighizuwa and Mazi Smith.

Huggins didn't get a qualifying offer from the Saints last offseason after spending the entire 2022 campaign on IR. He joined the Falcons on a one-year deal last summer and carved out a rotational role in 2023. Huggins is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but a reunion wouldn't be surprising given his role this season.

Huggins (undisclosed) didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Saints on Wednesday and is now a free agent, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Huggins spent the entire 2022 campaign on IR after suffering an undisclosed injury during the Saints' final preseason game. However, the undrafted defensive tackle out of Clemson appears to be healthy heading into free agency. Huggins has appeared in 14 contests with three different teams (Eagles, Lions and Saints) since joining the league in 2019, totaling 19 tackles across 265 defensive snaps.

Huggins had to be carted off the field after he suffered an unspecified injury during New Orleans' final preseason game Friday. The 25-year-old recorded 16 tackles over nine games with the Saints last year, but he will now be forced to sit out the entirety of the 2022 campaign on the team's IR, barring any injury settlement.
