Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Friday that Armstrong (ribs) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Armstrong will miss at least one game due to the ribs injury he sustained during Washington's loss to the Ravens in Week 6. Quinn said Armstrong "had a good week but he's not there yet." The veteran defensive end's next chance to take the field will come Week 8 versus Chicago.
