Isaiah Prince: Let go with injury settlement
The 49ers waived Prince (heel) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Prince suffered a knee injury in San Francisco's final preseason contest and was subsequently placed on injured reserve. By reaching an injury settlement, he'll be able to play in 2025 if he gets healthy and lands with a new club.

San Francisco placed Prince (knee) on its injured reserve list Monday.
Prince injured his knee during the 49ers' final preseason game versus the Chargers on Saturday, and now he's headed for their injured reserve list. Because of the timing of the transaction, he won't be eligible to play in 2025 unless he negotiates an injury settlement with San Francisco.

Prince exited Saturday's preseason game against the Chargers with an apparent left knee injury and will not return, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Prince was clutching at his left knee before he departed the exhibition. The 28-year-old offensive lineman has logged 84 offensive snaps this preseason.

Bengals' Isaiah Prince: Returns to active roster
The Bengals activated Prince (elbow) from injured reserve Monday.
Prince will return to Cincinnati's active roster immediately after being designated to return from injured reserve Monday. The 25-year-old offensive tackle has spent the entirety of the 2022 campaign on IR so far, and he should slot into a reserve role moving forward this season.
