Cincinnati hasn't confirmed that Wilson underwent the procedure, but head coach Zac Taylor will likely touch on the matter when he speaks to the media following the Bengals' first official Week 14 practice later Thursday. According to Garafolo, the projected recovery timeline for Wilson would give the linebacker a chance at returning for the playoffs, but the 4-8 Bengals are shaping up as longshots for the postseason. Before sitting out this past Sunday's loss to the Steelers with the knee injury, Wilson had played in each of Cincinnati's first 11 games of the season, recording 104 tackles and two forced fumbles while also recovering two fumbles.

Wilson played every single defensive snap during the Bengals' Week 11 loss to the Chargers, finishing with eight tackles (four solo) and one forced fumble. However, coming out of the Week 12 bye, it appears the 2020 third-round pick is now working through a knee injury, which forced him to be sidelined during Wednesday's practice. Wilson will have two more chances this week to return to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of Sunday's AFC North clash against the Steelers.

Wilson recorded eight tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers.
The linebacker also played on every defensive snap for the ninth time in 11 games this season. Wilson is up to 104 tackles (55 solo) on the year, the fourth straight campaign in which he's made at least 100 stops. This year, he also has a pass breakup, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Wilson recorded nine tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 41-24 win over the Raiders. He added two fumble recoveries.
Trey Hendrickson was the defensive star for Cincinnati with 4.0 sacks, but Wilson performed well too by leading the team in tackles. He added a pair of second-half fumble recoveries that each led to the Bengals putting points on the scoreboard. Wilson has been a very steady IDP asset this season, logging at least eight tackles in each of his nine games. He ranks third in the NFL with 88 stops overall.

Wilson's seven tackles in Week 8 were actually the fewest he's had in any game so far this season.
