Zach Davidson: Signs with G-Men
The Giants signed Davidson to the practice squad Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Zach Davidson: Cut by Bills
The Bills waived Davidson on Tuesday.
A 2021 fifth-round pick, Davidson spent the 2024 season on the Bills' practice squad and was elevated to the active roster three times, catching one of two targets for five yards. Davidson can play on special teams, so he's a candidate to stick around on the practice squad in case of injuries during the season.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Staying in Buffalo
The Bills signed Davidson to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.
Davidson spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Bills' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated for three regular-season games, playing both offense and special teams and logging one catch (on two targets) for five yards. Davidson will be on Buffalo's 90-man roster when the new league year starts March 12, which will allow him to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp.

Zach Davidson: Back to practice squad
Davidson reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Davidson was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 44-42 loss to the Rams, failing to log any stats while playing 16 offensive snaps and 16 snaps on special teams. The tight end will now have to be officially signed to the Bills' roster in order to appear in another game this season.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Elevated by Buffalo for Week 14
The Bills elevated Davidson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Davidson will be elevated from the Bills' practice squad for a third and final time this season. He gives Buffalo additional depth at tight end, as Dalton Kincaid (knee) and Quintin Morris (shoulder) are both listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.

Zach Davidson: Moves back to practice squad
The Bills reverted Davidson to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Davidson was active for Sunday's Week 13 game against San Francisco and played 15 offensive snaps, failing to catch his only target. He was clearly the third tight-end option for Buffalo behind Dawson Knox (28 offensive snaps) and Quintin Morris (24) with Dalton Kincaid (knee) out of action. If Kincaid sits out again next Sunday in Los Angeles against the Rams, Davidson could be elevated again, though he doesn't see enough action to be a viable fantasy target.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Gets Week 13 elevation
Davidson was elevated from the Bills' practice squad to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup versus San Francisco.
Davidson has one previous elevation this season, as he played 11 offensive snaps against Kansas City in Week 11 and caught his only target for five yards. To date, that is the only NFL action of his career. Davidson's elevation for Week 13 corresponds with Buffalo's top tight end, Dalton Kincaid, being ruled out due to a knee injury.

Zach Davidson: Reverts to practice squad
Davidson reverted to the Bills' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
The Central Missouri product made his first appearance of the season in the Bills' Week 11 win over the Chiefs, playing 15 total snaps (11 offensive and four on special teams) and catching his only target for five yards. He could return to Buffalo's active roster for the Week 13 matchup against the 49ers if Dalton Kincaid (knee) has not fully recovered after the bye week.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Elevated for Week 11
The Bills elevated Davidson from the practice squad Saturday.
With Dalton Kincaid (knee) out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Davidson will provide tight end depth behind Dawson Knox and Quintin Morris. Davidson has yet to play a regular-season snap in the NFL.

Zach Davidson: Lands opportunity
Davidson signed a contract with the Bills' practice squad Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.
Davidson was the team's leading receiver during the preseason, which wasn't enough to keep him on the active roster but did land him a spot on the practice squad. With Quintin Morris (shoulder) looking iffy for Week 1 against the Cardinals, Davidson could be promoted early.

Zach Davidson: Let go by Buffalo
Davidson was waived by the Bills on Tuesday, Alec White of the team's official website reports.
Davidson compiled a team-high 50 receiving yards on five catches during the preseason, but he ultimately didn't do enough to crack the initial 53-man roster. If the tight end clears waivers, he has a good shot of joining the Bills' practice squad ahead of the 2024 season.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Battling for depth role
Davidson (undisclosed) is competing for one of the Bills' final roster spots at tight end this offseason, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Davidson missed the entire 2023 campaign after the Bills placed him on injured reserve last June. The nature of the 25-year-old's injury was never disclosed, though he looks to be past the issue now that he's being viewed as a candidate for a depth role at tight end. Davidson's primary competition for slotting behind Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox should come from Tre' McKitty and Quintin Morris.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Hits injured reserve
The Bills placed Davidson on injured reserve Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, ending his 2023 campaign, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Davidson, a 2021 fifth-round pick by Minnesota, spent the 2022 campaign on the Bills' practice squad and then signed a futures deal with Buffalo in January. However, he'll either miss the entire 2023 campaign or will have to come to an injury settlement with the Bills after apparently suffering an injury at some point during the team's offseason program. Davidson has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game.

Bills' Zach Davidson: Staying in Buffalo
The Bills signed Davidson to a reserve/future contract Monday, Chris Brown of the team's official site reports.
Davidson was a fifth-round pick by the Vikings in 2021 and was a member of the team's practice squad as a rookie. The 6-foot-7 tight end was then waived ahead of the 2022 season and spent the entire campaign with the Bills' practice squad. Davidson now will look to see the field in regular-season action for the first time with Buffalo during the 2023 season.

Zach Davidson: Joins Bills' practice squad
Buffalo signed Davidson to the practice squad Thursday.
