Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Likely looking at '50-50' split
Chad Graff of The Athletic predicts that Rhamondre Stevenson and Henderson seem likely to share New England's backfield work pretty evenly this coming season.
During the 2025 regular season, Henderson recorded 180 carries for 911 yards and nine TDs to go along with 35 catches for 221 yards and another score in 17 games, while Stevenson logged 603 yards and seven TDs on 130 carries, adding 32 catches for 345 yards and a pair of receiving scores in 14 contests. Looking ahead to the coming campaign, Graff suggests that the Patriots could lean more on Stevenson in short-yardage situations and early downs, with Henderson a candidate to check in for second- and third-and-long situations, provided his pass blocking holds up. In any case, both players should still see enough work in 2026 to generate production, with Henderson's big-play potential making him an appealing option for fantasy managers in spite of the looming time-share.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Game slowing down in Year 2
Coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that the game is starting to slow down for Henderson as he enters his second season, Taylor Kyles of CLNSMedia.com reports.
Pass protection has remained an issue for him during training camp, but Henderson continues to make plays as a receiver and break off long runs as a rusher. Rhamondre Stevenson has also done nothing to lose his spot atop the depth chart however, after averaging 4.6 yards per carry across 14 regular-season games last season. Henderson played just 31.4 percent of the offensive snaps during New England's playoff run last season and figures to open 2026 as a low-volume, big-play threat. If Stevenson starts off slowly, gets injured or continues to have ball security issues -- he's lost six of 10 fumbles over the last two years -- Henderson has the talent to flip the backfield roles. The 2025 second-round pick is shaping up to be an upside fantasy pick, but one with a risky floor.

Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Set to maintain prominent role
As training camp approaches, Rhamondre Stevenson and Henderson remain atop the Patriots' RB depth chart, Avery Hill of the Boston Globe reports.
Though Henderson and Stevenson are in line to continue to share the rushing load in 2026, both players should still have fantasy utility while working in an offense helmed by Drake Maye. In his first year as a pro in 2025, Henderson recorded 180 carries for 911 yards and nine TDs to go along with 35 catches for 221 yards and a score in 17 regular-season contests. Meanwhile, Stevenson gained 603 yards and seven TDs on 130 carries, while adding 32 catches for 345 yards and a pair of receiving scores. While the looming time share remains an issue for Henderson's weekly fantasy floor, the 2025 second-round pick's playmaking ability makes him the upside play in New England's backfield.
