49ers' Taybor Pepper: Sticking with 49ers
Pepper signed a three-year extension with $1.5 million worth of guarantees with the 49ers on Saturday, he announced on his personal Twitter account.
Pepper has served as the 49ers' long snapper since the 2020 season, and he'll remain in the role moving forward. Prior to joining San Francisco, Pepper played for the Packers, Ravens, Giants and Dolphins.

49ers' Taybor Pepper: Inks new deal
Pepper signed a two-year, $2.08 million contract with the 49ers on Friday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Pepper played the final 12 games of the season with the 49ers, and he impressed enough to secure a two-year contract. He'll be with the team through the 2022 campaign.

Pepper joined offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu as 49ers added to the reserve list Monday. The long snapper has appeared in all 12 of San Francisco's games since Week 4, but the team may have to find an alternative option at the position for its season finale against the Seahawks.

Pepper (foot) was placed on injured reserve Friday.
Pepper hurt his foot in practice Thursday. While the details surrounding his injury aren't clear, his placement on IR suggests it could be severe. Green Bay will now move on to its third long snapper of the season in Derek Hart, who was signed Friday after spending time with the Packers over the summer.
